Obituary: Mrs. Katie May Kirk McKelvy, aged 70, of Bluff City (Nevada County) died Monday at her home. She was born at Bluff City and was a life-long resident of the county. She was a Methodist. Survivors include two sons, L. R. McKelvy of Prescott and R. M. McKelvy of Bluff City; a daughter, Mrs. Hartwell Irvin of Camden; three brothers, Marion Kirk of Prescott, Jeff Kirk of Bluff City, and Marvin Kirk of El Dorado; four sisters, Mrs. Alice McAteer and Miss Laura Kirk, both of Bluff City, Mrs. Bessie Gillespie of Texarkana, and Mrs. Mabel Lester of Santa Rosa, Texas; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral will at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Ebenezer church near Bluff City. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery by Cornish Funeral Service.
