Obituary: | James C. McKelvy, aged 76, a retired farmer, died Saturday morning at his home in Bluff City. He was a native of Nevada County. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Leroy of Prescott and Ruel of Bluff City; a daughter, Mrs. Hartwell Irvin of Camden; a brother, O. F. McKelvy of Rosston; three sisters, Misses Esther and Beulah McKelvy and Mrs. Mattie Clark of Rosston; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services Monday afternoon were conducted at Ebenezer church by Rev. Stacey Thrasher. Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery by Cornish Funeral Service. |
