Obituary: Doris Dean Pierce, 70, of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. She was born on May 4, 1954, to Cecil and Ethyl Jenkins in Lewisville, Arkansas. Her most enjoyable times were that of spending time with her family rather it was just a good visit, playing a game of cards, crafting or cooking. She could also be found fishing or gardening. Preceded in death by Cecil and Ethyl Jenkins; Mary Jean Holt; Williams Jewell Jenkins; Clarence Jenkins, Jr; and Cecil May Jenkins. Survived by, her spouse, Gary Pierce; daughters, Tina Crank (Jason) of Lewisville, Arkansas, Shannon Covington of Lindale, Texas, and Courtney Riddick of Bradley, Arkansas; granddaughter, Lauren Deanna Grimes of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; grandsons, Dalton Lane Grimes (Sara) of Milton, Florida, Garett Covington (Makena) of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Dillan Beard of Texarkana, Arkansas, Avery Wray Hughes of Bradley, Arkansas and Aaydn Riddick of Bradley, Arkansas; great granddaughters, Charlee Lane Grimes of Milton, Florida and Leighton Covington of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; and great grandson, Levi Walker Grimes of Milton, Florida. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas with Brother John Force officiating, interment will follow at Falcon Cemetery, Falcon, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Cliford Brown, Jimmy Holt, Dalton Grimes, Dillian Beard and Michael Covington. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
