Obituary: | Mrs. Bobby Jean Poindexter, of Bodcaw, Arkansas, age 91, passed away on Monday June 17, 2024, in Prescott, Arkansas. She was born on October 20, 1932, to James Madison and Bonnie Faye Skinner Hamm in Bodcaw. She was a member of the Bodcaw Church, she had a lifetime passion of quilting, and cherished the Lord. She worked at the Hope Train Depo for many years. Preceding her in death is her mother and father, husband Wilbur T. Poindexter, brother Billy Don Hamm, sisters Mary Lou Pittman, Betty Jo McMillen, and Marie Arnett. Left to cherish her memories are her son Gary Lynn Poindexter, and other family and friends. Funeral service will be graveside held on Thursday June 20th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with Bro. Gary Johnson officiating at the Bodcaw #1 Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. |
