Obituary: Mrs. Lera Bradley, age 79 of Laneburg, Arkansas, passed away Monday February 26, 2024, at her home. She was born on September 19, 1944, to Ralph and Virginia Ryan Callicott in Bossier City, LA. Lera graduated from Hope High in 1962, she gained her bachelor's degree at Henderson in 1966 she attained her master’s from Louisiana Tech and did graduate work at SAU. Which led to her forty year long teaching career in Special Education. She was a faithful member of 30 years to the Mt. Zion MBA in Cale, Arkansas. She loved her oil paintings and her pencil drawing; she was truly devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Laura Bradley, and sister Virginia Hampton. Lera is survived by her husband Frank Bradley, three sons Bryan (Rebecca), Barry (Amanda), Braden, sister Margaret Jewel Smith (Bill), seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024, at 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the Brazzel Cornish Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Donnie Dillard and Bro. John Marlar officiating at New Salem Cemetery in Laneburg. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
