Obituary: | Juanita Louise Matherly Murch, age 79, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Bentonville, AR surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born to John and Georgia Matherly on February 21, 1944 in Culver City, California. She attended high school at Tulare Union in Tulare, California and retired from the State of Arkansas as a USDA inspector. Juanita was a beloved mother and grandmother and was Nene to all that she knew. She never met a stranger, gave selflessly, and made sure everyone felt loved and included. She loved shopping, especially at her Bentonville Walmart Supercenter, going out to eat and visiting with family and friends. Juanita was a jokester, she had a passion for telling bedtime stories and she spoiled her grandchildren every chance she had. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gerald Matherly, Harold Matherly and Larry Matherly and one sister, Patricia Ellis. She is survived by her 2 children; Debbie (Tim) Eastin from Finger, TN and Scott (Kristy) Murch from Bentonville, AR. 7 Grandchildren; Jeff (Jessica) Moseley, from Bartlett, TN, Cody (Crystal) Moseley, from Memphis, TN, Karli (Jordan) McCreary, from Onarga, IL, Kaylyn (Richard) Hubbard, from Drummonds, TN, Kristen (Marco) Eastin, from Memphis, TN, Jessi (Zach) Zbylut, from Siloam Springs, AR and Ashley (Keeten) Jones, from Canehill, AR. 16 Great-Grandchildren, sisters-in-law Sharon Matherly, from Hope and Debbie Lemley from Texarkana and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00pm Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope. Graveside Service to follow at Union Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Hope. |
