Obituary: Mrs. Janice Green, age 78 of Caney, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2023, at her home. Janice was born on April 8, 1945, to Jerrell and Catherine Daily Gosvenor. She was a retired nurse for Dr. Young in Prescott, member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church and was known as “Momma” Green to all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jerald and Leslie Gosvenor. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Homer Green, two sons, Dwight Green of Caney, Keith Green, wife Rachael of Hope, Arkansas, daughter, Felicity Brewer of Caney, sister, Kathy Toombs, husband Perry of Norphlet, Arkansas, eight grandchildren Troy Green, Adam Lucy, Ashley Carter, Brandon Carter, Gerald Landers, Dana Williams, Kaley McWilliams, Cheyanne Baker, two great-grandchildren Waylon McWilliams, Aubrey McWilliams and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday August 26, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Highway 371 Prescott, Arkansas 71857 Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Sunday August 27, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Cornish with Bro. Donnie Dillard officiating. A burial will follow in Caney Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/CORNISH The Funeral Home of Prescott.
