Obituary: | Gary L. Calhoun, 70, of McNeil, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born July 31, 1952, in Hope, Arkansas to Hollis Levesque Calhoun and Nadine Martin Tinsley. He was a member of the United States Army. He treasured time spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and riding Jack to Grannys. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Danny Calhoun. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Penny Murphy Calhoun of McNeil, Arkansas. One son, Gary Christopher Calhoun and wife April of Sherman, Texas. Two grandsons, Gary Ashton Calhoun of Bossier City, Louisiana and Ean Patrick Calhoun of Balch Springs, Texas. One granddaughter, Makayla Don Calhoun of Haltom City, Texas. One great grandson. Two sisters, Nina Johnson and Dianne Phelps. Stepfather Coy Tinsley Jr as well as many other family and friends. A private family service was held at Glenville Cemetery in Nevada County. |
