Obituary: Mr. John Davis, age 67 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Friday October 28, 2022, in Texarkana, Texas. John was born on November 23, 1954 in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Roy Robert and Ola Mae Cole Davis. He was a retired truck driver. He loved his family and his greatest passion in life was spending time working in his flower beds and watching his hard work come to life creations. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Jerry Alden Mitchell, Raymond Robert Davis. Survivors include; wife Ceclia Hillery Davis, Tw brothers; Wayne Andrew Mitchell of Sherman, Texas, James Roy Davis of Malvern, Arkansas, three sisters; Geanette Stroud of Pittsburg, Kansas, Myrtel (Billy) Nichols of Washington, Arkansas, Brenda Ivey of New Port, Arkansas uncle Weldon (Virginia) Cole, special adopted son Ronny Sargent. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday October 31, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel Director. Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday November 1, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Ray Cromer officiating. Burial to follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel Director.
