| Obituary: | Linda Broome, 74, of Camden passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. She was born February 18, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Warren and Delta Broome. She worked for the Social Security Administration Services for 33 years. After retirement, she moved to Arkansas and built a home by her daddy. Linda was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she served as Council Secretary and was a member of the J.W. Williams Sunday school class. She was a member of the OCMC Auxiliary for many years. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Delta Broome, her brother Raymond Broome, and her grandparents. She is survived by her father, Warren Broome of Camden and her beloved dog Tutu. A special Thank You to her caregivers Wayne Campbell and Scott and Denise Steelman. Funeral services for Linda will be Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00PM at Fairview United Methodist Church in Camden. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kat Burchfield will officiate. Burial will be at Bluff City Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Honorary Pallbearers are James Oliver, Brown Oliver and the J.W. Williams Sunday school class. |
