Obituary: Mrs. Heather Diane Loe Callicott, age 49, of Cherry Valley, AR, formerly of Prescott, passed unexpectedly from this life on Monday, December 20, 2021. She was born March 1, 1972, to Henry “Buddy” Loe and Beverly Shewbirt Loe in Prescott, AR. She was a well-respected educator, having taught in Hope School District, Prescott School District, home schooled her own sons, and most recently taught sixth grade in the Cross County School District. One of her greatest joys in life was to bring out the potential of the students that passed through her classroom. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and shared it with others in praise and worship. Although she loved basketball the most, she enjoyed watching all sporting events, especially if one of her sons was involved. She had a ferocious competitive streak. A former Lady Curley Wolf basketball player, she remained a life-long Curley Wolf fan after graduation. She worked her way through college as a checker at Taylor’s Grocery in Prescott, where she made many friends and acquaintances. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, her husband of 25 years Cannon Callicott; sons Ryan Stephen Callicott, Eli Henry Callicott, and Daniel Cannon Callicott; brothers Sean Loe of Las Vegas, Nevada, Andrew Loe and wife, Danielle of Prescott; beloved sister from God, Lorie Arnette and husband Tim of Perrytown, AR; her in-laws Don and Janice Callicott of Caney, brother and sister-in-law Robert and M’Shay Callicott of Little Rock; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends, relatives, colleagues, and students. She has been reunited with so many loved ones who preceded her, including her grandparents, her Aunt Sherry, and a miscarried baby. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her memory to the Cherry Valley, AR Food Pantry, the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund, the American Cancer Society, the First Baptist Church of Prescott, or a charity of your choice. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 6:00pm-8:00pm at First Baptist Church in Prescott. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 1:00pm at First Baptist Church in Prescott with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. A Private family burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery; under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Prescott.
