Obituary: JANIS KAY WORLOW JANIS KAY WORLOW 74, OF CALE, ARKANSAS PASSED AWAY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 AT SAINT MICHAEL’S HOSPITAL IN TEXARKANA WITH HER HUSBAND WILLIAM WORLOW BY HER SIDE. SHE WAS BORN MAY 3, 1949 TO IKE AND GENEVA JOHNSON. JANIS RETIRED FROM THE BANK OF PRESCOTT. SHE ENJOYED QUILTING AND HELPING OTHERS. SHE WAS VERY OUTGOING AND NEVER MET A STRANGER. SHE WAS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF MOUNT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH AND THE CALE CITY COUNCIL. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND WILLIAM WORLOW, SON MARK RHODES, BROTHER FERRELL JOHNSON AND WIFE ANNETTE JOHNSON, SISTER ALMA SMELTZER AND HUSBAND FRANK SMELTZER ALL OF CALE, ARKANSAS AND NUMEROUS BELOVED FAMILY MEMBERS. THE FAMILY SINCERELY APPRECIATES THE CARE AND COMPASSION BY THE NURSING STAFF AND THE DOCTORS AT SAINT MICHAEL’S HOSPITAL IN TEXARKANA, ESPECIALLY NURSES JOHN, BRADY AND BRYAN. SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT MOUNT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH IN CALE, ARKANSAS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2023 AT 11:00 AM.
