Obituary: | Mrs. Joann Watson Land, age 66 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, in a local nursing home. Joann was born on August 27, 1955, in Alexandria Louisiana, to John and Hazel Faught Watson. She was a retired registered nurse and worked in the health care industry for 30 years, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: son, Tim Land Jr. wife Stephanie of Emmet, Arkansas; daughter, Amie Blount, husband Tracy of Delight, Arkansas; brother, Danny Watson, wife Judy of Hope, Arkansas; sister, Judy Phillips, husband Dave of Emmet, Arkansas; four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Heather Manor for the compassion and care given to Joann. Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas 71801. Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Brazzel/Oakcrest with Bro. Mark Land officiating. Burial to follow in Snell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel Director. |
