Obituary: | Bobby Joe (Pete) Jester of Boughton was welcomed into Heaven March 8, 2024. Pete was born in Lockesburg, Arkasnsas on Decemeber 2, 1938 to Doyle and Winderleen Jester. As a boy he loved hunting and fishing with his family, his passion for these activities continued throughout his life. On Decemeber 5, 1958 he married the love of his life Cathryn (Cat) Elmore. Throughout his life he worked many construction jobs across the US. He also worked at IP, Fafner and Potlatch. Later in life he and his wife Cathryn Jester built and ran chicken houses until his retirement. He enjoyed working cattle also. He looked forward every year to spending time at deer camp and fishing trips with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Cathryn (Cat) Jester, his parents Doyle and Winderleen, two brothers, Thomas and Jim and one nephew Doyle Jester. He is survived by his children, Darlene Young of Prescott, Bub Jester of Prescott and Denise (Rick) Stubbs of Okolona, His Six Grandchildren, Courtney (Kevin) Roach, Theresa (Timmy) Powell, James (Lexi) Stubbs, Nick (Madison) Stubbs, Bobby (Candace) Young and Breanna (Chad) Kirkley, 14 greatgrandchildren, One very special sister in law Judy Jester, Multiple nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Brazzel Cornish Chapel. Funeral service will be on Thursday March 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Cornish Chapel with Bro. Joey Christopher officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove in Boughton. In lieu of flowers send to Piney Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. |
