Obituary: Obituary for Janice Gae Middlebrooks Janice Gae (Thompson) Middlebrooks 74 of Stephens, Arkansas formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home in Stephens. She was born on October 29, 1946 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late Byron Ford Thompson and Gladys Rhea (Oglesby) Thompson. She retired as the secretary for the Arkansas State Lion’s Club in 2006 and was a member of the Stephens Church of Christ. Janice is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Byron Ford Thompson. She is survived by her husband Steve Middlebrooks of Stephens, Arkansas and a son Scott Edward Harper of Hot Springs, Arkansas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Liberty Cemetery in Troy, Arkansas with Mark Mosher and Jerry Butler officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Pallbearers will be Jeff Edmondson, Robbie Arrington, Byron Delamar, Corey Edmondson, Jerry Butler, and Kevin Arrington.
