Obituary: | April Renay Carlton Clark, age 42, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home in Greenbrier, Arkansas. April was born March 26, 1979, in Prescott, AR, to Randy and Sherry Carlton. She was married on September 7, 2007 to Kevin Clark. April loved people and was loved by so many in return. She loved to travel and watch movies with her family, and she loved to shop (her biggest weakness). April was a graduate of the 1997 Class of Nevada High School and continued to stay in touch with her friends. She attended Cosmetology school and worked as a hair stylist until she moved to Greenbrier; Everyone loved for April to do their hair. She then worked in medical billing in Greenbrier. Most of all, April was an outstanding mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She went above and beyond to provide for her family. April is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Clark; grandparents, Charles Sherman, and John Henry and Pearl Carlton; cousin, Holly Gillaspie, and uncle, Doug Gillaspie. Survivors include her: amazing son, Carter Krishna; beautiful daughter, Carlee Clark, and beautiful step-daughter, Kaylee Clark, all of Greenbrier; parents, Randy and Sherry Carlton of Bodcaw; brother, Chris Carlton (Kandace) of Bodcaw; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. The family would like to express how grateful they are for the love and support; Every message, text, phone call and food received was so appreciated. A special thank you to the friends and community of Greenbrier for your amazing and outstanding show of love and support to Carter and Carlee and family.
