Obituary: | Dana Suzanne Hawley Otwell, 50, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 in Hope, Arkansas. Born January 22, 1970 to Debi Smith of Hope Arkansas. She was raised by Jay and Pauline Hawley of Hope Arkansas where she attended Spring Hill School and graduated with the Class of 1988. Soon after graduation she married Larry Otwell and they had their children Zackary Tye, Zayne Dylan and Zoie Elizabeth. Her children were her world. She was a nurse for over 20 years and loved taking care of her patients. Her hobbies included doing anything that her children were involved in. She is preceded in death by her mothers, Debi Smith and Pauline Hawley; fathers, W.J. Hawley and Glen Applegate; sister, Glenda Moore; brother, Troy Hawley; and grandparents Ester and Luther Reese. Survivors include three children, Zack Otwell and his fiancé Haili, Zayne Otwell and Zoie Otwell of Prescott, Arkansas; one grandchild on the way, Bodhi Wolfe Otwell; husband of 26 years, Larry Otwell of Prescott, Arkansas; her brothers, Kenneth Smith and wife Fran of Aldeburgh, England; Billy Bob Smith and wife Michelle of Hope, Arkansas; special aunt, Sue Buie of Prescott, Arkansas, cousins, Larry Bradley of Prescott, Tommy Buie of Conway, Eddie Buie of Prescott and Joey Caraway of Atlanta, Texas; and a host of many other family members and friends. The family would also like to give a special thank you to her Hillcrest Care and Rehab family for all the special love and care they have given her in the last two and a half years. We invite you to a walk-through visitation from 8:00am-5:00pm Friday, July 10, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. Funeral service is 2:00pm Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope with interment to follow in Harmony Cemetery. Bro. Neal Ridling will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. |
