Obituary: Mr. Daniel Wade Cox, age 75 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs, AR. Danny was born on May 13, 1945, to Pershing M. and Mary Hildebrand Cox of the Redland Community, east of Prescott. He attended Henderson State University and served several years in the Arkansas National Guard. Danny primarily worked in construction throughout his working years but really enjoyed retirement. Danny liked to cook, growing a garden, fishing, hunting, and spending time outside at the lake. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Cox Wylie of Hope. Survivors include one brother; Mike Cox, wife Connie of Camden, AR, one sister; Cathy Cox Straley, husband Beau of Aubrey, TX, three sons; Perry Cox, wife Melissa of Russellville, AR, Terry Cox, wife Tonya of Owasso, OK, Chad Cox of Hope, AR, five daughters; Danielle Cox Stephenson, husband Greg of Vilonia, AR, Michelle Cox Durmon, husband Craig of Hot Springs, AR, Jade Cox Salih, husband David of Pataskala, OH, Elizabeth Ann Cox Howe of Pennsylvania, Audrey M. Cox of Texarkana, AR, eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Come and go visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 19, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. Private family service will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home with Bro. James Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Prescott, AR.
