Obituary: Mrs. Burns was born on September 30, 1932 in Washington, Arkansas to her parents, Frank and Mamie Cogbill. She was an amazing cook, loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed going to the pasture to look at her cows. She was also a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyce Burns; and three brothers, Jimmy Don Cogbill, AD Cogbill, and Charles Cogbill. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Loyce Wayne Burns (Sherry) of Willisville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, LaDonna McKamie (Shaun), Casey Burns (Adrienne); ten great grandchildren, Ethan, Gracie, Chloe, Colton, Tripp, Addi, Aubrey, Ryan (Tiffany), Maddox, and Brady; one brother, Sammy Cogbill (Angel). Visitation will be held between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Bodcaw Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Phillips and Bro. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Willisville Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
