Obituary: Anita Joyce Wicker caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. The Matriarch of her family and friend to many peacefully passed away on May 17, 2024. She was born on October 16,1942. She loved her family, her church family at Morris Baptist Church, and the Morris/Caney community she lived in for most of her life. The bond she shares with her son is unending. She loved her siblings beyond measure. She was passionate about her faith and was the definition of dignity and grace. She was a beautiful woman in every way possible. She was the hero in all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives. She attended anything involving them to show them how valued they were and proud of them she was. Lovingly called Grandma Nita Joyce she was not only a grandmother but a place to always feel welcomed and loved. She raised children she didn’t have to but chose to, forever leaving a loving imprint on their hearts forever. She had a commendable work ethic that inspired anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She was an avid reader, classic movie enthusiast, and had a great intellect as well as sense of humor. She was a woman of integrity and spiritual wisdom. She was known for her service and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Anita leaves behind a lasting legacy of faith and love. She impacted many lives throughout her time on Earth and her role as a spiritual guide to family and friends. Anita’s devotion to her Christian faith was evident in her everyday life and in the way she nurtured her relationships with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her grandparents Henry and Bertha Glass, Bynum ad Mollie Munn, her mother, Geneva Hogan, her husband, Jerry Don Wicker, Jim Dundee, half-brother Tony Munn, father Mack Munn, a step-son Neil Wicker, and her beloved nephew Randy Munn. She is survived by her Son, Eric Dundee and his wife Tanya, her granddaughter, Jenifer Dundee Bierman and her husband Steve, her grandson Jared Dundee and his wife Amanda, her grandson, Devon Dundee and his wife Katherine, her granddaughter, Erica Martin and her husband Logan, her grandson Gavin Dundee, and her Grandson, Drew Dundee. Her great grandchildren include Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, Macy (Grandma’s Darling and Papa’s precious), Chance, Levi, James Ethan, Conner, William, Aiden, Karson, Trenton, Hannah, Kylee, Hadley, and baby Noah. Anita was the first born of her siblings and leaves behind her brother, Donald Mack Munn and wife Yvonne, Jeanette Steed wife of Wayne Steed, Kenny Munn and wife Kelly, half-brother Arthur Munn and wife Sandra, step-daughter Donna Dundee, step-son Conley Wicker, along with her niece and nephew’s she loved dearly, Lisa Rose Cowart and husband Hippee, Patrick Steed and wife Jaime, and Kyle and Kabe Munn. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 5:00pm-7:00pm at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral services with family and close friends honoring Anita’s life and faith in Jesus Christ will be held on Thursday May 23, 2024, 11:00am_at Morris Baptist Church, with Bro. Matthew Miller.
