Obituary: | Cleo Marjorie Ferguson Byrd was born on March 27, 1931, in Hydro, OK to Loy J. and Addie Mae Ferguson. She passed away on July 25, 2021, in Longview. She was married to the love of her life, Cleo L. Byrd, on December 19, 1951, in Texas. She was a long-time member of Camille Acers Missionary Baptist Church in Longview. Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her husband on April 22, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, L.J. Ferguson. Those left to cherish are her daughter Diann Byrd of Longview; son and daughter-in-law William and Patty Byrd of Longview; 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and many other friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, July 30, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3 PM at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, AR. The family request that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the building fund at Camille Acers Missionary Baptist Church, 901 Camille Dr. Longview, TX 75604.
