Obituary: | Janis “Susie” Gummeson,67, of Prescott, AR passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Prescott. Susie was born October 7, 1956, in Prescott to L.C. and Louette Dickerson. In 1988 she started her career with Walmart, after 27 years she retired as a Department Shift Manager. Susie loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 28 years Ben Gummeson. Survivors include two sons David Gummeson (Samantha) and Shane Gummeson; three grandchildren Kami Gummeson, Caitlyn Gummeson and Bryce Gummeson; two brothers Sid Dickerson (Marie) and Paul Dickerson (Lisa). The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and The Springs of Hillcrest for their love and support in caring for Susie. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Camp Sunshine fund.
