Obituary: | Mary Catherine Jones, age 78, of Sutton Community passed away Saturday March 16, 2024, at her home. Mary was born on December 1, 1945, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Everett Long and Lola Mae Cate. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Everett Long and Lola Mae Cate, her husband Jesse (Pete) Jones, son Greg Jones, brothers & sisters-in-law Merris Long, Dan and Evelyn Long, brothers and sister-in-law Bill Long, Ruth & Cloris Hicks, Johnny Thompson, Buddy McKamie, nieces Laura Long, Terri (Long), one grandson Stephen Arnett, one granddaughter Meagan Arnett. Mary is survived by her daughter Melanie & son in Law Billy Arnett, grandsons Timothy Arnett and Alex Peek, granddaughter Jessica Jones, sister Ann Henderson (Jack), several brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday March 18, 2024, 5:00 pm-7:00pm at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 19, 2024, at 10:00 am in the Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel of Hope with Bro. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest the Funeral Home of Hope. |
