Obituary: | Randall Ray Marcum, 76, passed away on November 13, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones in Prescott, Arkansas. Born on November 20, 1947, in Stallings, West Virginia, Randall was a known member of his community and a loving figure in the lives of many. Randall dedicated many years to his career as an over-the-road truck driver, a job that took him across the country and allowed him to meet people from all walks of life. His work ethic and friendly demeanor made him a well-respected figure both on and off the road. Outside of work, Randall was known for his big heart and strong beliefs. He was a man of many faiths who loved all. Randall found joy in simple pleasures; he loved talking with friends and family, caring for his dog Cooper, gardening, listening to music, and watching his favorite westerns on TV. Randall is survived by his sisters, Joann Barnett and Polly Pennington of West Virginia; his son, Randall Ray Marcum Jr and daughter Kathleen Francisco of Lancaster, Ohio. His grandchildren, Lenoria Leisure, Deborah Barnett both of Memphis Tennessee. Christopher Marcum, Lindsey Fraser, and Alexander Marcum of Prescott Arkansas and a host of great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored. He also leaves behind his special friend, Vernon Burkeen of Prescott, and a list of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie and Tabby Marcum of West Virginia ; his wives, Deborah Marcum and Judy Marcum; his children, Aaron Marcum and Teresa Lynn Rickman; his granddaughter, Victoria Leisure; and his brothers, Toney Marcum and James Edward Marcum; and his sister, Janet Perry. Visitation will be held at Brazzel Cornish Chapel on November 15 from 5PM-7PM, with a funeral service to follow on November 16 at 2 PM at Brazzel Cornish Chapel. A graveside service at Midway will conclude the ceremonies.Randall's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. |
