Obituary: | Sue Buie ,84, of Prescott, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, October 10, 2021. She went peacefully, surrounded by four generations of descendants who loved her very much and will forever cherish her memory. Sue was born June 6, 1937, in Casa Grande, Arizona to Luther and Esther (Fielding) Reese. As a child, her family moved to Prescott, Arkansas where she would spend the remainder of her life. She raised her family while also working at Liberty Value-Mart and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. After retirement, she spent all her energy on family, friends and church. Sue had many dear friends and will be missed. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her parents, Luther and Esther and her siblings, Dean Reese and Pauline Hawley. Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Larry Bradley of Hot Springs, Tommy Buie (Cherry) of Conway, and Eddie Buie of Rosston; grandchildren Lisa Graves (Timm) of Hot Springs, Dawson Bradley of Gurdon and Mark Blevins (Shawn) of Atkins; great-grandchildren Kaitlynn Cook (DJ) of Grass Valley, CA and Justin Hampton of Antelope, CA, Bailey, Ciara and Lexi Grace Blevins all of Atkins, and certainly not least, great-great grandson, Zander Cook of Grass Valley, CA, several nephews and nieces, and too many friends to count. The family would like to thank the ladies of Central Baptist Church for all their kindness and Kindred Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care. Services to be held at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00pm, with visitation preceding at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at De Ann Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel Director. |
