Obituary: | Mr. Glenn Avery, age 84 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his home. He was born February 21, 1937, to Elmer and Stella Jones Avery in Delight, Arkansas. He was a retiree of Potlatch and a member of Prescott Church of Christ. He was a firefighter with the Prescott Fire Department for 24 years, serving as Assistant Chief for 10 years. Glenn is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Linda Avery and one son, Todd Avery. Those left to cherish his memory are: one son, Ken Avery of Texarkana, AR; two grandchildren, Zack Avery and Brittnee Westerfield; four great-grandchildren, Travis Avery, Ellie Avery, Sarah Westerfield, Jacob Westerfield; a host of loved ones and friends. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, November 12, 2021, at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Hwy 371 West Prescott, Arkansas 71857. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Brazzel/Cornish with burial to follow in DeAnn Cemetery. |
