Obituary: | Ora Mae McKamie, 80, of Hope, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Heather Manor Nursing Home. For 26 years she worked as a CNA. She is a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Mrs. McKamie was born in Prescott, Arkansas on May 5, 1937. Survivors include her loving husband, Odis McKamie of 56 years; five children, David McKamie of Milton, Florida and wife Sandy McKamie, Odis Daniel McKamie of Hope, Arkansas and wife Myrtle McKamie, Gerrie Henderson of Russellville, Arkansas, Lisa Pauley of Bauxite, Arkansas and husband Tommy Pauley, Michael McKamie of Hope, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister, Elsie Fay Wells; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Jessie Billingsley Monk; brother William Lee Monk; grandson David Ewell McKamie, Jr.; grandson Shannon Wayne Pauley. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. Chapel service will be 2:00pm Friday, November 17, 2017 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope, Arkansas. Interment will follow in Shiloh Methodist Cemetery with Bro. Joe Brown and Bro. Oliver McKamie officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. |
