Obituary: | Mrs. Betty Henry, age 87 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born May 19, 1934 to Clyde and Doris Gillespie Hildebrand, in Bluff City, AR. She retired as Administrative Assistant from Drew Central School District and was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family, working in her flowerbeds and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles C. Henry; and three brothers, Bennie Hildebrand, Dwayne Hildebrand and Larry Hildebrand. Survivors include her daughter, Kris Morgan (Gary) of Portland, AR; son, Pat Henry (Debbie) of Hope, AR; three brothers, Rex Hildebrand of Prescott, AR, Melvin Hildebrand of Loveland, CO, David Hildebrand (Pam) of Texarkana, TX; sister, Phyllis Mann (Kenny) of Camden, AR. Four grandchildren, Brad Morgan (Gina), Dr. Kara Morgan (Kelvan Brown), Michael Henry (Meghan), Dr. Hunter Henry; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown and Rhett Henry; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Hillcrest staff for the loving care shown to Mrs. Betty. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, September 5, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy 371 West Prescott, Arkansas 71857. Funeral service will be 10:00am Monday, September 6, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Mowrer officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bluff City Cemetery Association 610 N. Calhoun 95, Camden, AR 71701 or to the National Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate.
