Obituary: | Lucille Roach, age 88, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Hot Springs. She was born April 30, 1932 in Prescott, Arkansas to Mark and Edna Ward Beck. She was a member of Faith Chapel Church of Texarkana, an avid Christian, and enjoyed reading her Bible. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, quilting, tending to her flowers in the yard and watching westerns on tv. Mrs. Roach is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde; four brothers, two sisters, two grandsons, and one great grandson. Among those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Edna “Dell” Birtcher and husband Bobby, Nancy Hagins and husband John, Shelia Pinkard and husband Del and Wanda Arnold; one sister, Jeanette Crettenden; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00am Thursday, September 17, 2020 at First Assembly of God in Curtis, AR. Interment will follow in Snell Cemetery with Rev. Donald Rasco and Rev. James M. Jones will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon. |
