Obituary: Herman Terrell Lasiter, Jr (H.T. or Terry) was born on July 7, 1947 to Herman Terrell Lasiter, Sr. and Margaret Lenora Garrison Lasiter in Warren, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marcia Buchanan Johnson Lasiter, four children: Cory (Jessica) Johnson, Colbi (Avery) Johnson, Jana (Kevin) Edwards, Trey (Stacey) Johnson, nine grandchildren: Bailey, Lauren, Conley, Aubrey, Kellan, Stella, Cooper, Owen, Miles, and a great grandchild, Blakely. He was a Middle School teacher for Prescott Schools. He dabbled in the logging industry before joining International Paper Company as a Forest Technician. After retiring from IP, he went on to work for Van Oil and Beckton Lumber. He was a member of First Baptist Church where is sang in the choir. He was also a member of Prescott Country Club, where he served as treasurer of the Men’s Golf Association, the Double Bogey Club and L&M Hunting Club where he was also the treasure. He treasured his family and friends. Graveside service will be 3:00pm Thursday April 30,2020, at De Ann Cemetery with Bro. Frank Henson officiating. Burial will follow. Funeral arrangments are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott Eddie Brazzel Director.
