Obituary: Wade McClure, 80, of Waldo passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia. Wade was born December 21, 1939 in Falcon. He was the founding owner of Wade’s Burgers and Fries and a longtime faithful member of the Waldo Church of Christ. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed rodeos, team roping, and horse related events. Wade was a family man who loved and treated each of his family members as his own, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Elwin McClure Sr. and Lillian Cleffie (Cox) McClure; wife, Carol LaRue (Harris) McClure; and two sons, Michael Clay McClure and Wade Edward “Eddie” McClure. Wade is survived by his sons, Jeff McClure of Waldo and Jason McClure and wife Casey of Waldo; grandchildren, Samantha McKellar and husband Dillon of Houston, Kristen Fuller and husband Cody of Emerson, London McClure of Fayetteville, Jackson McClure of Waldo, Lauren McClure of Magnolia, Jaci McClure of Waldo, and Justin McClure of Waldo; stepchildren, Joy Rowell and husband Dale of Conroe, TX, Bill Owens of Ruston, LA, Sherry Wynne and husband Johnny of Springhill, LA; sister, Mary Lou Melton of Haughton, LA; and a host of great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. aveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at the Falcon Cemetery with Bro.
